GOLF
Originally opened as the Jim Mclean Golf Center in 1999, Texas 9 is an Executive, 9-hole Golf Course serving Dallas/Fort Worth. We fill a special niche in the community as one of the few public courses in the region, making us an accessible option for both experienced and new golfers. Our attractive campus is nestled alongside the watershed of Village Creek, taking advantage of light, rolling hills and scenic groves. We are located next to our sister course, Waterchase Golf Club, a full 18-hole course, and feature a full clubhouse with guest amenities.
know the etiquette
- Remember to establish group rules before beginning.
- Obey golf cart rules and stay on the designated paths.
- Stay quiet until a player is done with their swing.
- Be respectful and play at an appropriate pace.
- Avoid checking notifications and lengthy phone calls.
- Yell “FORE” if someone is in danger of being hit by a ball.
- Fix the green after your ball has dented it.
- Save practicing shots for the end of the game.
- No need to comment on other’s playing.
reminder on some rules
- Don’t stand directly behind or in front of a golfer about to swing.
- If a group smaller than your own or a single player comes first they have the right away to play through.
- The player furthest from the hole goes first
- Spend no more than 3 minutes looking for a lost ball.
- The lowest-scoring player on the previous hole goes first .
- Only touch your own ball throughout the entire game.
